Carol has lived locally for many years and is an experienced District Councillor. She has a track record for getting things done. As a founder member of the working group formed to process the master plan of Red Lodge, she would like to work with residents to achieve their aspirations for the community.
About Lance Stanbury
Lance works in Cambridge managing a large shopping centre and is an experienced councillor and campaigner for local people. He has served as a non-executive director of an NHS hospital trust and been leader of a council, winning many victories for residents including, the provision of new community facilities and improving road safety for school children.
Carol & Lance’s Priorities For Red Lodge & Herringswell
Red Lodge has grown fast and needs a community association Carol & Lance will lead the establishment of a community association to improve facilities, service and amenities and address concerns of local people living in Red Lodge.
Speeding on residential roads must be stopped Carol & Lance have listened to the concerns of local residents and will campaign for safer roads and higher standards of maintenance.
Rural communities need strong representation Carol and Lance will address the problems affecting people’s lives including drainage, bad roads, parking, speeding and development.
Building on the successes of Conservative led Forest Heath Council
Carol & Lance share your concerns over the speed of development in Red Lodge. Although Red Lodge boasts some of the best sporting and play parks in the area and has shops, medical provision and the millennium centre, Lance and Carol know there is more work to be done to build a strong community. They will campaign for a local community association for Red Lodge to address local concerns; from getting potholes repaired to helping residents with their housing problems, or installing traffic calming measures. Lance and Carol are committed to making the local council work to put the concerns of Red Lodge council tax-payers first!
