The chairman and officers of the Newmarket & District Branch of the West Suffolk Conservative Association cordially invite you to our “Something Blue” fundraiser race day at The Rowley Mile Racecourse on Saturday 19th May 2018 – the date of the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – doors open at 11:30am and the wedding will be televised at the course, as it’s the Regal Raceday sponsored by Betway.
We would like to take the opportunity of thanking Amy Starkey of Jockey Club Racecourses for her generous help and support in organising this event.
The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the party, recruit some new members and generally have a great time among friends, and of course toast the bride and groom. To be clear, you do not have to be a member of the Conservative Party to attend.
The day includes entry to the races, a private box with a buffet and welcome drink on arrival. With our racing connections we hope to raffle a visit to the parade ring for a lucky couple.
In true wedding tradition, and to identify you as a Conservative, please wear something blue!
Tickets are priced at £35 per person. Sadly, there is no concession for annual badge holders as this is a fundraising event.
